Confession: I am into Champagne. Love, love, love the bubblies, whether a nice glass of champagne or a champagne cocktail. And nothing would make me happier than to travel to the Champagne region of France. While that still remains on my travel bucket list during the stay-at-home orders, I can still get comfy and embark on virtual tours of France, the home of champagne, and taste the bubbly at home. Social distancing and travel restrictions are the new normal (for now). While we can’t do much about that, we can still turn stay-at-home into an opportunity to learn and acquire new skills that will be useful once life goes back to some type of normal. Say cheers to the first-of-its-kind, new Champagne online course, MOOC,  launched by the Comité Champagne offers.

Representing 16,000 growers and 319 houses of Champagne, France, the MOOC was created by the Comité Champagne and is offered for free. The Classic Version course takes an estimated three to five hours to complete and can be taken anytime – virtually.
