Because Family Time is Hard Pinot Grigio
With the holidays around the corner, and the family poised and ready to pounce on your quite home, it’s time to stock up on wine. (Like you don’t already have wine, right?) Just in time for high season for family dysfunction, Josh Ostrovsky aka The Fat Jew announced the expansion of their White Girl Wine Brand with Family Time is Hard Pinot Grigio.
Wine Lover of Pinot Grigio
If you know me, you are familiar with my obsession with Pinot Grigio. Hands down, it’s my every day go-to-wine. It’s my four-season wine; no matter the weather, a cold glass of Pinot Grigio hits home for me. As far as family, I love my family. And as a seasoned wine lover, I can also admit that some of my family can be a bit…challenging. That’s why I can identify with this new wine: Family Time is Hard Pinot Grigio.
And maybe you can understand that I didn’t have to taste test this wine to know that I would love it. What’s not to love about a wine named Family is Hard Pinot Grigio?
Pinot Grigio is the most popular white wine for the holiday season and this one pairs perfectly with fish, grilled shrimp, pasta, salads, passive aggression, “catching up,” and family time in general. Family Time Is Hard is a bright medium-bodied Pinot Grigio with citrus, pear, melon and mineral flavors with light to medium acidity.
And then there’s the endearing quote from Josh Ostrovsky aka The Fat Jew and popular Twitter account @whitegirlproblem (managed by Tanner and David Oliver Cohen), “Because your mother is unbearable, but like, only wants the best for you. And you have to see your weirdo cousin who wears boot cut jeans. Family time is hard, you’re gonna need wine,” said Ostrovsky.
Family Time is Hard Pinot Grigio
Their website describes Family Time is Hard Pinot Grigio as “A crisp, delicious, medium-bodied pinot grigio. We made this for anyone with a family.”
So yeah, I’m so going to sample this wine ASAP — and follow White Girl Problems on twitter.
Priced at $19, Family Time Is Hard Pinot Grigio wine is now available at familytimeishard.com.
